About Us

Badlands Truck Wash  is a family owned business that started in 1991. We are currently celebrating  25 years of service!

Founded by Bob Schrum, the business was later taken over by son Joel Schrum and made into a portable business in 1998.

Becoming portable made it easier to go to the customer and also expand the company's abilities all while keeping a personal touch. Growing up on the road with family that drives truck has given us an edge as we know what an owner/operator expects when they get their equipment cleaned. As a small company we know all of our customers on a first name basis and we pride ourselves on the work that we do. We hand brush in all our cleaning using cold water only to prevent dulling and fading of any paint or metal. Our brush heads are changed regularly to prevent scratches and brush strokes. We are capable of handling jobs of various sizes including residential, commercial, farm related and trucking.

Community and family are very important to us. We are members of the Dickinson Chamber of Commerce and the Dickinson Parks/Rec Racket Ball & T-Ball. We also sponser great organizations like the Dickinson Boy Scouts and are major sponsor for all 4-H projects in the area. Please see below on a few articles about our business and the community involvement.
